HEAD & NECK CANCER
Head and Neck cancer refers to a group of cancers of the mouth, sinuses, nose or throat. The symptoms usually appear in the mouth, sinuses, noses or throat and includes an unhealed sore or lump, persistent sore throat, trouble in swallowing and changes in voice. Pain is common in the ear, along with enlarging of neck lymph nodes, hoarseness or mouth ulcer. Head and neck cancer can cause differing degrees of structural deformities and functional handicaps, depending on the site, size, and patterns of the spread, hence compromising well-being and self-esteem.
